Brooky's baptism.
We are so proud of Brooklyn that she made the choice to be baptized. Her Grandad baptized her (Nicks dad) and gave her, her confrimation blessing. Afterwards, we had a birthday party for her at our new house, and family and friends came over to celebrate with us.

Family Reunion (Sorta)
Saturday we had a Reuninon with my moms sister, and one of my moms friends. The rest of my moms family lives out of state. The familys were unable to all meet in one spot so we had a reunion with the familes here in Arizona. My uncle Jimmy taught us how to make rockets, that we launched with an air compressor. The kids had a blast (me too).
Bella and Jimmy.
Swimming alone ( with the help of a noodle)
Since summer began Bella would scream every time I worked with her in the water. She was ok if you just held her, without any swimming lessons attached. Well on thursday I finally got her to kick by herself on the noodle. Now she likes swimming. Yipee its only taken 2 months. Next step is to get her comfortable without the noodle. One step at a time. Abby, Brooky and Slade are having a blast in the pool, the only problem is getting them out of the pool.

New Job!
I start work for new company next Monday (Tower Services, inc. or T.S.I.). I'll be doing the same type of work but, most of it will be in town and any out of town work will at least be in state. That is a huge plus since the majority of my work with my old company was and will be out of town, some in state but mostly out of state. We'll see how it goes but we really think this is a good move. - Nick

Well school is out for the summer. I passed math and my lab class for chemistry, but lucky for me I get to retake the lecture in chemistry all over again. Oh well next semester it should be a breeze. Fingers crossed!!!!
So far this summer we have been swimming a few times and enjoyed cooking on the grill. (steaks, chicken, steaks ,did I mention steaks). We hope to get in a few camping trips this summer. Also, another fun thing I'm trying this year. I'm training for the PF Chang Rock N Roll marathon here in Phoenix, Jan 2010. If Nick is not home for me to go jogging, the kids hop on their bikes and ride along side me. They enjoy it, anyways.
So who wants to join me and train for the marathon????

The Graduate
He did it! All the years of hard work, late nights and endless homework and now, finally, Slade has Graduated.......Kindergarten.
"Boogey" woogey
Brooky had her last dance recital of the year and did really good she even had a little duet dance she did. Unfotunately, we were having camera issues, again, so there 's not any pix of her dancing.

10 YEARS! HOLY CRAP!
Sunny and I have now been married ten years! Sometimes we feel like it was just yesterday that we took our vows and somtimes it feels like the LONGEST TEN YEARS of OUR LIVES! (j/k) A lot has happened, good, bad and in between but, 3653 days and 4 kids later, under gunpoint or not, we still love each other.

SNOW DAY!
We all went up to Pinetop and played in the snow but we forgot our camera, so we just have these pictures of Bella that Marcey (aunt) took of Bella and Shad (cousin). Despite the lack of a camera, we all had fun, especially the kids (of course). A snow ball fight broke out and all the kids and Sunny tried to gang up on me, however, I prevailed. One by one, the kids mutinied and joined dear old Dad. Proof that the survival instinct is strong in my kids. It's especially strong in Slade ( He jumped ship after the first snowball I delivered to his head.)
